I get hit on by guys occasionally. I Reeeeeeally don't like that. People's preferences are none of my business but its best to just take no for an answer when it when it involves me. Don't challenge me on that issue. Best to just leave some people alone...

Its really difficult to find what I am looking for these days. When there are certain qualities that you are looking for its easy to be mistaken about a specific person in regards to something. The problem is that I run into a Huge group of people who are mislabeled sometimes. That shouldn't happen. Imagine being somewhere and everyone is mislabeled for miles and miles and you're thinking, "This isn't what I am looking for. If this is what's here, where are the people that I am looking for.

I had some candied yams recently. They tasted good but I couldn't eat any pie afterward. Thats the first time I ever thought, "Maybe I shouldn't eat this. I am spoiling my dessert."

I had so much static electricity in my clothes recently that my clothes LITERALLY lit up every time I took something on or off. I felt like Raiden.

Recentlt I was looking at something at youtube and I saw that Sir Mix-A-Lot video "my posse's on Broadway." It brought back somechildhood memories (I listen to current music...I just find myself listening to older music a lot because the cocaine inspired music of today isn't what i am into). I am not sure how many people remember the juke box network but before there was MTV Cribs, there was a 3 minutes version of it on the jukebox networks. Instead of requesting a video a person would request a 3 to 4 minute segment where they are talking about their house. I guess its like a commercial that was so good that e\it ended up with its own show. I remember that Sir Mix A Lot had a segement on the jukebox network. Apparently that Kris Kross vidoe "jump" Enraged Sir-Mix-A Lot. It wasn't that he was throwing chairs on anything but he could barely talk about his Benz's and Rolls Royces because he was taking shots at Kris Kross. I am probably the near the same age as Kriss Kross so I thought, "He is that angry at some adolescents? Whats that all about?" Now that I am Older I think that I can see how that could piss someone off...

These are rsandom things to think of but...

I think that Exteme Stalker situations happen because people enable the Stalker somehow. It probably has happened in the history of mankind but I don't believe that there are one-man-army stalkers. I think that there are stalkers and the people who enable them or assist their stalking somehow. I think that those people are as guilty as the "stalker.

I am at the upper limit of people who keep their anger in check. Especially if you view it in relationship to what is happening around me acround me at any given time. I think that a lot of people want you to keep your anger in check so that they can get away with anything, though. Just because someone keeps their anger in check doesn't mean that offenders will get away with ergregious things. People shouldn't think, "He doesn't seem enraged so I will get away with robbing him."

The weather has been very cold lately. I am fully aware of the fact that Fall and winter in Southern California is not as warm as Summer but, wow! Does that mean that it is that much colder everywhere else?

Where is Everyone?? I met 100s of people in this area back in the day but I never run into anyone...

This can't be a normal situation but up to this point law school has been $10s of thousands wasted. I can honestly say that I made more money during the year in between law school and undergrad than what I have earned during the entire time since I graduated from law school. I didn't make much before law school either. You would think that it was holding me back somehow: Thats close to NEVER right?

I woke up with the right side of my face swollen this morning. My room mates were asking me about it and I didn't have much of an explanation for them. I guess that its going to be one of those days...

Occasionally people still bother me excessively about MI or Det. I understand how the topic comes up Ever but I think the only reason that amyone ever would bother me about that is because they know that it makes me angry. Not sure why anyone would want to go out of their way to make me angry: I guess, "why Not?" Huh? Apparently its not a complete day unless you bother someone about something they Obviously have nothing to do with...

I was watching that show 1000 ways to die recently. I guess that that show is a good gauge of how the censors have changed oveer the years. I don't think that that show could ever have mader it past the censors on basic television ten years ago. That show might not have been on basic television. but it definitely wasn't on HBO.

It is difficult to not have any presence online these days. Most of the people that I know are on a numerous social networking websites. It is difficult because I am adverse to adding a bunch of people to my friendlist at this point. That is too much personal information to put out into the mainstream for the world to see for my comfort levels.

I was listening to that muse song uprising recently. It came on the radio and gained my attention enough that I didn't change the title. I thought that it was a song from the 70s or something but it was released recently.

I might not be getting a random sample of the tpes of articles that are being posted on yelp.com lately. Based on what I have been reading it seems like they types of reviews that people are posting now had changed. People are writing reviews more in line with what someone would write for an essay assignement for school. I am more accustomed to the yelp.com posting that reads like "I am not really sure what to say about this club. Some friends told me about this place so we decided to hang out there last weekend. The music was ok. I got... really wasted that night and hooked up with some girl in the unisex bathroom. I woke up in the gutter the next morning shivering. Now I am recovering from the clap..."

People talk about messing up a lot lately. I intend to take this in a different direction than the people who I heard mention it recently (I honestly hear people talk about this all the time... no particular person inspired this. . It seems like there can be too much potential to "mess up". Its not normal for every interaction that you have with anyone around you to be a potential opportunity to screw up. If you are in a position where every interaction is a potential screw up, you can't avoid everyone, and conflict is common, you still have to live your life. If thats the best situation that you can find for yourself, may as well make the best of it...

I read something in the not-to - distant past that said. "Acquaintances cannot call you. Thats why they are acquaintances." That comment made a lot of sense to me. I have gained respect for people who don't attempt attempt to get around the fact that they don't know someone enough to make a comment to them directly by saying something indirectly but loud enough that they hear it. Apparently it takes a lot of self-control to not do that.

Nostalgia

I am nostalgic lately. Lately I will read about something from some point in time in my life that actually had an upside to it and it will cause me to reminisce a bit. I was surfing the web and I saw an article about the play N*W*C. I was like, "Wow, that play is still going! I was there when it started! I was there!" I remember seeing those guys while I was walking through UCLA's campus all of the time when they were spreading the word about and beginning to show the play for the first time. I was there!! I felt like I was reliving the magic all over again when I was reading the article...

The weather has been better recently. That two week stretch where it rained recently was weird.

I have been getting a lot of scathing commetns posted on this blog recently. I haven't decided whether I will post those comments yet. It makes me wonder: Who is reading this blog?

Lately I have been doing a workout that a personal trainer told me about in starbucks years ago. If I recall correctly he worked at Bodies in Motion in Los Angeles. I don't think that I have ever gained so much respect for anyone in their field of expertiese as I gained for that guy when he gave me that workout advice. It Easily gave me and continues to give me the best results that I have ever seen...

10/26/2010

This is interesting. I was talking to someone about my high-rep workout recently. I was explaining to him exactly what I was trying to accomplish. He has a different body type than me so I didn't go so far as to recommend the workout to him. He has different goals and a different body type. This went without incident because it isn't significant to say that someone with different goals and body types should do a different workout. I am never the guy who claim that what is good for one person is good for everyone.

I think that it makes some people uncomfortable if you point out the fact that there is some difference between you and them that makes something different up your alley as opposed to theirs. It seems to make people unconfortable if you don't point it out but you just live life in such a manner. There are differences between people, though. I think its worthwhile to be rational about it sometimes.

10/25/2010

I meet a lot more people who are fighting a fight against diminishing returns lately. The fact that some people are far beyond or exceeding what actually translates into anything extra to show for it seems to bother them a lot. The fact that this guy's 8 pack gets them the same girl as that guy who has a four pack stomach seems to eat them alive inside. The fact that they live in a comparable mansion to someone with lesser status really seems to bother them. The fact that their upscale venue barely rivals some hole in the wall in club in Hollywood that anyone with the right "look" ca nget into seems to bother them. Thats an interesting mindset.

I was watching cartoons at some point in the recent past. I don't watch much tv so I don't know how to act when I have a remote control. Cartoons today are so much different than they were were i was that age. GI Joe and Transformers might still be on television in some way shape or form but they are not much like the originial. I guess that that refelects upon the writers. Whoever wrote for cartoons when i was that age is probably in their 60s by now. Its interesting to think that that would translate into cartoond being a lot edgier back then.

I was listening to some rap songs that were released recently. It dawned on me that most of the hits that were released between the late 80s and up till recently were mostly released by people in the same age racket. They are all close to 40 now right? maybe a little bit older or a little bit younger. People who were younger than that were like honorary members of that generation for the purposes of that genre of music. What happens at this point? Does that quality of the genre diminish as they move on to things?

I was thinkingabout that hitchcock episode "The Case of Mr Pelham." This is not to be confused with that Travolta/ Washingtom movie that was released recently. It made me think about indentity theft generally. If there was ever a serious indentity theft situation, people probably want the person who they know or the person who they like to most to win that case. That doesn't really prove anything though. Certainly people being able to speak to who they have been dealing with claiming to be said person matters but hard evidence doesn't cease to matter because of it (I am talking about the sitation wjhere there is a genuine dispute). It is probably difficult to regain your identity in a situation where someone of status steals your identity also... I have never encountered anyone who was enough like me to plausibly be mistaken for me after any lengthy interaction...

Someone posted a comment asking me if I ever felt lonely: thats an interesting question. It is certainly the case that not everyone can cause me to feel other than lonely...this leads to loneliness when I am too far away from ideal situations. Thats the best answer that I can give. Its always good for people to take my word for when I am in an ideal sitation though...A person is beside him/herself to attempt to exceed my stance on that. It is an issue of degree, though. The last time that I Very didnt feel alone was probably 2005...
