"Inadvertent or not it happened!"

I was thinking more about being an "Extreme Eventist." Extreme Events continue to happen so its not difficult to do so. I have come to the conclusion that when a person is an "Extreme Eventist," it is important to check every event that crosses the line in whatever way is appropriate. If an objective assessment says that your life should be relatively "eventless" but you still witness or are a part of an Extreme Event every other day, it is important to check. It is normal to let a lot of things go in life, but when you are an Extreme Eventist you dont really have that luxury...

Of course, a lot of events can't be checked. Yesterday, A flock of birds that I had previously only seen in zoos landed in my backyard and hung out there for an extended period of time. I have no idea how typical this is (I am new to the area), but this was an absolutely new experience for me. I didn't "check" this event and chase the birds off of the property. I just watched the spectacle. It wasn't a negative thing to occur, but these sorts of events take a bit out of me even when they are positive. I am hoping that the next Extreme Event that I am a part of isn't a powerful hurricane that puts me and my apartment in the ocean..

A few days ago I was writing the date and almost wrote "2007" instead of "2008." This happened because I had recently looked at something that had "2007" written on it. This made me try to remember the latest time of the year when I accidentally wrote the date from the year before. The latest that I can recall is mid-February. I bet some people out there recently wrote "1998" and had to catch themselves because the year is "2008" now...
