Television and Overused Statements...

I don't watch television often, but sometimes I watch television I see something on a program that is thought provoking. Recently, I saw a marathon of a show that I used to watch when I was younger. It was great to see this show, but this marathon didn't show any "Classic" episodes. Marathons that don't show classic episodes are inherently weak: If my first impression of this show was based on watching that "marathon," I would wonder why it was ever popular. I guess I will have to find the episodes that I expected to see during the marathon on Youtube...

I was watching television after midnight one night. At that time of night there are pretty much only infomercials, re-runs of talk shows, COPS, and weird "caught on video" shows. One of the weird "caught on video" shows had a segment about a kid who was raised by a pack of wolves. The kid was a part of the pack and more or less behaved like a wolf. I don't buy that at all and am very skeptical about what sort of weird subliminal they were trying to send underneath the radar...

Recently, I had a conversation with someone. We discovered that we knew people in common or something of that nature and I said "Small World." Usually, this type of remark is said without incident: One person says "Small Word" then the conversation moves on to a different topic. Not this time. This person adamantly disagreed with me and took me to task on the idea. Mind you that I keep a can on Pepper Spray with me just in case a remark like "Small World" devolves into some sort of incident. I listened to the person's argument and he made some valid points. This caused me to think... If its not a "Small World,"what are the implications of that?
