I was watching that show 1000 ways to die recently. I guess that that show is a good gauge of how the censors have changed oveer the years. I don't think that that show could ever have mader it past the censors on basic television ten years ago. That show might not have been on basic television. but it definitely wasn't on HBO.

It is difficult to not have any presence online these days. Most of the people that I know are on a numerous social networking websites. It is difficult because I am adverse to adding a bunch of people to my friendlist at this point. That is too much personal information to put out into the mainstream for the world to see for my comfort levels.

I was listening to that muse song uprising recently. It came on the radio and gained my attention enough that I didn't change the title. I thought that it was a song from the 70s or something but it was released recently.

I might not be getting a random sample of the tpes of articles that are being posted on yelp.com lately. Based on what I have been reading it seems like they types of reviews that people are posting now had changed. People are writing reviews more in line with what someone would write for an essay assignement for school. I am more accustomed to the yelp.com posting that reads like "I am not really sure what to say about this club. Some friends told me about this place so we decided to hang out there last weekend. The music was ok. I got... really wasted that night and hooked up with some girl in the unisex bathroom. I woke up in the gutter the next morning shivering. Now I am recovering from the clap..."

People talk about messing up a lot lately. I intend to take this in a different direction than the people who I heard mention it recently (I honestly hear people talk about this all the time... no particular person inspired this. . It seems like there can be too much potential to "mess up". Its not normal for every interaction that you have with anyone around you to be a potential opportunity to screw up. If you are in a position where every interaction is a potential screw up, you can't avoid everyone, and conflict is common, you still have to live your life. If thats the best situation that you can find for yourself, may as well make the best of it...

I read something in the not-to - distant past that said. "Acquaintances cannot call you. Thats why they are acquaintances." That comment made a lot of sense to me. I have gained respect for people who don't attempt attempt to get around the fact that they don't know someone enough to make a comment to them directly by saying something indirectly but loud enough that they hear it. Apparently it takes a lot of self-control to not do that.
